Pelvic Congestion Syndrome
Women often develop persistent pelvic area pain due to a condition called Pelvic Congestion Syndrome. It is particularly common in young women who have had several pregnancies. This is typically due to leaky valves in the ovarian veins. Relief can often be obtained by a treatment known as ovarian vein embolization which we perform in our office under local anesthesia. There is no down time and no scars, so call for your appointment today!
